My Story

The youngest daughter of seven siblings born to Lemuel and Carrie Austin in Chicago Illinois, Lemuettia R. Hicks was raised in a loving two-parent blended and traditional family. Growing up in Chicago, her parents made sure their children knew of the importance of having a relationship with Christ as equally if not more so than academia.

After hearing from God and then His word being confirmed, Lemuettia and her family moved to Mesa, Arizona where she currently resides. With such strong conviction Lemuettia graduated from the University of Phoenix receiving her degree in Business Management and later to graduate from Liberty University to receive her Certificate of Completion in Biblical Studies. This Certificate of Completion would become the start on the path to Lemuettia’s journey of aiding others in their understanding of Christ and their individual struggles.

However, January 22, 2000; God put the perfect mate in Lemuettia’s path. She married Cardell Hicks almost twenty years ago, and it is ironic that Lemuettia moved from one blended family to another, as her life with Cardell would consist of the same. Lemuettia and Cardell have seven children and four grandchildren.

Answering the call on her life in 2001, it is with God’s grace that Lemuettia has had the opportunity to become a Spiritual Leader, Adviser, and Mentor to many in conjunction with overseeing a Marriage Ministry for well over ten years. Ministering to numerous couples both for pre- and post- marriage issues, as well as to those individuals seeking to gain a personal relationship with their Lord and Savior.

As an Ordained Minister, Lemuettia is a current and active member that serves in all capacities in the church; as well as her Pastor’s Assistant at Worship Life Center Church (Mesa AZ) under the tutelage of Pastors Stanley Jay and Joyce Ann Jay.

Lemuettia R. Hicks is dedicated, a hard-working wife and mother; as well as when it comes to serving the Lord, and in doing that in which He has called her to do; she has surrendered her life to Christ and has chosen to go wherever He leads her to help His people! Amen!
